This privacy policy applies to the Implicitly® and Bias Tests platform (together, the “Implicitly Platform” or “Platform) Bias Test (bias-testing.com). The Platform was created by Shire Professional Chartered Psychologists (“Shire”), located at The Grooms' Quarters, Gally Knight Estate, Barker Hades Road, Nr Worksop, Nottinghamshire, Letwell, England, United Kingdom S81 8DG. All Platform data are hosted on servers owned and administered by Shire but located in Canada.
This privacy policy informs Platform test takers (“you”, “your”) about our privacy practices in using the Platform. This privacy policy should be read with our Terms of Service. Unless otherwise defined, the terms used in this privacy policy have the same meaning as our Terms of Service.

By using the Platform, you understand and agree that the purpose of the Platform is to measure the strength of ‘people preferences’ (biases) while assessing the risk of those becoming biased behaviours. These tests are based on the Implicit Association Test developed for commercial use to measure the impact of biases on our behaviour.
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual, either alone or when combined with other information. Throughout our interactions with you on this Platform, we may collect, use or disclose a limited amount of personal information for the purpose of administering our platform to you.

De-identified or Aggregated Data: We may use de-identified or aggregated data for the purposes of reporting on test results or to identify trends in your results or aggregated test results. These de-identified or aggregated reports may be shared with third parties for policy development or analytical purposes. As noted, they may also be shared with Shire for quality improvement purposes.
De-identified data means the data does not contain any information that does or can reasonably identify you. Aggregated data means data that is gathered and presented in a summarized format. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal information but is not considered personal information in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
If we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal information which will be used in accordance with this policy.
We take your privacy very seriously and we are committed to implementing security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information we hold. As part of our commitment to privacy, we take appropriate and reasonable technical, physical and administrative security measures to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control from such risks as unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or destruction. This protection includes but is not limited to security in the computer system, passwords protection, and limiting data access by TNT Personnel on a need-to-know basis.
We store your data on Canadian servers. We may transfer data outside of our jurisdiction or across international borders. Data transmissions over the internet are encrypted. Please note that no data transmissions or encryptions can be guaranteed to be completely secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us by using our platform, and you do so at your own risk.
We rely on you to ensure that your personal information provided to us is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which it was intended to be used.
